Who We Are

Mountain of Glory, Manchester (“MOGM”) is a Christian church serving Salford, Cheetham Hill, Prestwich, Radcliffe and the wider Greater Manchester area. We exist to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to show His love in practical, visible ways.

Our Charitable Objective

To advance the Christian faith for the public benefit in Salford, Cheetham Hill, Prestwich and Radcliffe and such other parts of Greater Manchester as the trustees may from time to time decide, through public worship, evangelism, Christian teaching, prayer, pastoral care and community-based support.

This means we focus on both spiritual and practical benefit for the wider community, not just for church members.

Mountain of Glory began with a simple desire:
to see people encounter Jesus, grow in faith and experience God’s help in everyday life.
From small prayer meetings to regular worship services and outreach, we seek to serve our local communities by:
Sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
Supporting those who are struggling.
Encouraging people to grow in hope, purpose and faith.

Our Beliefs

We are a Bible-believing Christian church. In summary, we believe:
In one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ is Lord, Saviour and the centre of our faith.
That the Bible is God’s written word, our final authority for faith and life.
That every person is created and loved by God and invited into a personal relationship with Him.
That the Church is called to worship God, love one another and serve the community.

Leadership and Accountability

Mountain of Glory, Manchester is led by a pastor and a team of church leaders who:
Provide spiritual oversight and teaching.
Safeguard the doctrine, vision and values of the church.
Oversee pastoral care, ministries and community projects.
Work within UK charity law and Charity Commission guidance.
We are in the process of registering with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Once registration is complete, our charity number will be displayed clearly on this website.
